2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not sell, rent, or in any way share personally identifiable information about you to any third party outside of WhyWire, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, operating companies and related entities. Throughout the site, if you choose to register, you are identified by your User ID. Your User ID can be used to identify your activities throughout the site. We cooperate with all law enforcement inquiries and with all third parties to enforce their intellectual property or other rights. Once you register, you will be able to review and change much of your personally identifiable information at our site. We collect your information in different areas of our site. The exact information collected varies, depending upon the area you are using. However, our users should be assured that we do not use, or view any information or content, such as video, audio, images, text, or other files, that you upload and store in the course of using our services. When you register for our services or order a product from our site, we must know your name, e-mail address, billing address, and credit card number plus expiration date. We collect this information in order to bill your credit card for services you subscribe to, and to ensure that your credit card is not being used fraudulently. Additionally, we will need to know how much disk space you are using on our server, how many devices (i.e., cameras, sensors, etc.) you have connected to our system, and how many times each month you are notified of an event. In our online registration form, we require you to provide us with your full name, billing address, phone number, e-mail address, a password and a User ID. Again, submission of this additional personal information is purely optional and refusal will still allow you to continue using our site. From time to time we may sponsor contests or other promotional activity. When and if you participate in a contest or other promotional activity, we must know your name, postal address and e-mail address so we can properly administer the contest and notify winners. In the course of using our site, we automatically track certain information about you. We do not sell, rent or in any way share any personally identifiable information about you to any third party outside of WhyWire, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, operating companies and other related entities. We do aggregate personally identifiable information and disclose such information in aggregate to advertisers and for other marketing and promotional purposes. However, in these situations, we do not disclose to these entities any information that could be used to personally identify you. Certain information, to the extent we have received it from you, such as your password, and credit card number, are not disclosed in aggregate at all. Unfortunately, due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. 5. CONTROL OF YOUR PASSWORD

6. REVIEWING AND CHANGING YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Once you register, you will be able to review and change much of your personally identifiable information at our site. Some information that you have requested us to remove will remain in our files. We will retain this information for very limited purposes, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Service Agreement. Further, such prior information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical constraints and the fact that we back up our systems. Therefore, all of your personally identifiable information will not be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests. Please promptly update your information with us if it changes.


7. THIRD PARTY COLLECTORS OF INFORMATION

WhyWire's privacy policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information given to WhyWire. To the extent that you disclose your information to other parties, whether they are other users, merchants or advertisers on our system or on other sites throughout the Internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the personal information you give to them. To the extent that we use third party merchants and advertisers, they adhere to their own privacy customs and policies. Because we do not control the privacy policies of third parties, you are subject to their privacy customs and policies. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.


8. SECURITY

We use industry standard efforts, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers, to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information. When you register for our services, place an order, access your account information or send us personally identifying data, that information moves to a secure server where it is protected from unauthorized access. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet. When using wireless cameras, you should be aware that information flowing between the wireless camera and the WhyWire System Controller connected to your computer, is not secure. This information can be intercepted by various devices currently available in the market. WhyWire is not liable for damages resulting from the unauthorized interception of such information by third parties. Due to the nature of current technology, there exists the possibility of unauthorized access to your computer by third parties. As such, all data on your computer, including WhyWire Home Control software, and related connections, can be comprised. WhyWire is not liable for damages resulting from the unauthorized access to your computer, and related WhyWire software and hardware by third parties.
